It's funny how you forget how to do the simplest of things when you get old, like how to work out a percentage! Luckily these days we have the internet to help us.

2.55 * 17 = 43.25

As for the other way round:

Q: Whats 43.25 as a percentage of 255?
A: 43.25 / 255 = 0.16960
0.16960 * 100 = 16.9; 11:54 am
